OL STRONG HAN OLI LIFTEMAP FAMLI, OLI LIFTEMAP KOMUNITI, OLI LIFTEMAP VANUATU

Vanuatu has one of the highest rates of violence against women in the world with 3 out of every 5 women experiencing violence in her lifetime. Beginning 30 November, Vanuatu will begin to look forward to a better future where women, girls, and people living with disabilities live free of violence. Come to Marobe Market at Bladinere to show how you use your strong hands to empower your family, your community, and the nation of Vanuatu! Join government departments, UN agencies and organisations across Vanuatu as the nation comes together to raise awareness of causes and consequences of all forms of gender-based violence, and the urgent need for action to help end the violence once and for all.

Below you’ll find a list of events and activities taking place at Marobe Market during the campaign. We have done our best to collect as many of them as possible, but it is by no means exhaustive. Unless otherwise indicated, all these events and activities are FREE. Join us from the 30th of November to the 4th of December and show us how you empower your family, your community, and Vanuatu!
